In a unexpected collaboration that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Disclosed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will receive an unique katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
